1979 Pontiac Trans am, 403ci automatic.
White/ red carmine interior. T-Tops, Power steering Power brakes, Power windows, Air conditioning, Cruise control, Tilt wheel, Am Fm radio. We are a small Used Car Dealer, and body shop, in Canton SD. I have owned this car Personally about 13 years. When i purchased this car locally, it was mostly an original
car. I have enjoyed this car. Three years ago we stripped all the paint and did a frame on Total professional restoration. All body gaps are very nice, all new weatherstripping on doors and t-tops, door bushings replaced, Exterior door handles replaced, Doors open and shut with ease and windows roll up and down and fit perfect.
Mostly all Original interior with new correct headliner, interior overall very nice original condition. Engine transmission are original, looks like water pump was replaced at one time, uses no oil, no smoke, does have a small front transmission drip. No other leaks. A/C blows cold. All gages and lights interior and exterior work. except power locks. Includes Spare
tire, jack, car cover. New front brakes, new battery with quick connect. New brake booster, 7 inch wheels were replaced with 8 inch aluminum wheels they were professionally restored, new tires.
Had the radio sent out added a AUX hookup in the original radio, the power antenna does not work (no original repair kit available), has to be raised and lowered manually, the sound is not the best. This is a mostly restored original car, excellent condition Starts, idles, drives, steers, rides, stops all very nice.

This GTO was locked for 36 years in a garage.
Body, engine compartment, trunk and the underbody are without rust. Look very clean. Motor has been replaced. It is again a 400 CUI. With a hydra matic automatic transmission, limited slip differential, front disc brakes, power brakes, electric motor, power steering, air compressor etc. This was
done: 400 CUI engine all stock and piston rings Paint the inside and outside as well as trunk, underbody, engine compartment Engine mount bracket Power transmission and brake master cylinder Front brake pads and caliper L + R Front and rear brake hose Front and rear shock absorber kit Door, trunk and rear side window Sealing Door and trunk lock cylinder Door Handle Mirrors etc.
17 American Racing very nice rims and tires New top vinyl white Much account with Shortcomings, of course, in my opinion: 90% complete parts The top frame is missing and the mechanism Front right passenger side door glass Windshield Cooler and a few small parts Interior still original seat cover and door trim The front bumper may have to be adjusted and lacquered The Pontiac is not a show car. It is 50 years old and I sell it as a restoration project vehicle.

This is a super cool and rare Pontiac Ventura 4 door hard top / flat top.
Most of these flat tops were Catalinas or Bonnevilles. The Venturas were on the shorter wheelbase like the Catalina but had the higher priced trim level of the Bonneville. These old flat tops are in big demand right now for cruising around them in, and for long road trips.
When all of the side windows are down, it is almost like driving a convertible with a bimini top. Absolutely no blind spots anywhere. This car has always been garaged and only has 67342 original miles. Absolutely 100% rust free now and never, ever, had any rust.
Driveline: This car has the optional high performance 2 barrel 389 V-8 and the optional 4 speed hydromatic automatic transmission. Both run out very well with no issues. The only item that is not factory under the hood is the change to an alternator from the generator. Power brakes and steering. No A/C. It has newer Coker reproduction bias ply wide white wall tires all around. Brakes stop like new. It steers very easily. All new
exhaust. Body: The body has mostly original paint that is in very nice shape considering it's age. Still shines very well. There are some touched up rock chips, nicks, scratches as you should expect for an all original car.
The left front fender and trunk lid look like they may have been repainted years ago. Very good match if they were. All weatherstripping is original and in very good shape. Glass is all in very good shape and the side windows roll up and down like new. Doors close like new. Chrome and SS trim: All chrome and stainless steel trim is all in excellent condition. No pitting and no need for any money spent here unless you just want it shinier than it already is. The only
drawback is bumper condition. The chrome is excellent, but both have some small dents.
The rear is the worst. Front hardly noticeable. Personally, I don't think they are so bad to warrant a dent repair and re-chroming, but you can decide. Even the chrome around the windows is pit free. Interior: The interior is all original and is in excellent condition. No rips tears in the seats and the material is still very pliable. It has the tri-color scheme of the Bonnelvilles. All factory gauges work as they should, including the " green" cold light. The radio plays like new with no static. Dash chrome and paint is in excellent condition. Steering wheel has no cracks.
( real rarity ) The wipers work, but sometimes they do not shut off. Not sure if it is the switch or a timing problem with the wiper motor / blade positioning? I have it unplugged under the hood. All lights work including the back up lights. Carpet and headliner are very nice. Underside and trunk: The underside has some minor surface rust but absolutely no rust holes anywhere. Same with the trunk and floor pans. The original trunk mat and spare tire is still in the trunk area. All in all, this is a super nice original car. It is one of the best original cars I have owned. I would not be afraid to drive this car anywhere or any distance.
